Job DescriptionCook Children's Health Care System is hiring a Float Pharmacy Technician II to work in Fort Worth, Texas.The successful candidate will assist the pharmacist in providing professional pharmacy services to the patients and staff of Cook Children's Medical Center and the community we serve.

• Assist pharmacists in providing pharmacy services to patients and staff.
• Perform technical tasks such as recording, filing, and reporting pharmacy activities and services.
• Develop skills and competency in pharmacy production areas including Central PO area, compounding, narcotics transactions, Omnicell refills, and compliance audits.
• Work under the direct supervision of an experienced pharmacist.Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Must have either 1 year of hands-on IV preparation experience or 1 year of working experience in the Cook Children's pharmacy.
  • Current PTCB Pharmacy Technician Certification is required.
  • Current Texas State Board of Pharmacy Registration is required.
