Do:As a Quality Leader, you'll be at the forefront of our
innovation of having responsibility and accountability for all
Quality Control / QMS activities / Quality Systems Support,
including but not limited to all SWP (Standard Work Process)
activities and responsibilities. The Quality Leader will provide
leadership and influence all QC activities at the Bayport site.
This includes management of personnel assigned to the QC department
and all direct reports. The Quality Leader directly reports to the
Sr Plant Manager and indirectly to the Corporate Quality Assurance
Manager. The Quality Leader is also the Champion for the Voice of
the Customer.What We're Looking For:
- Ensures all SWP functional QC activity tasks are
value-assessed, prioritized, in alignment with department
objectives, deliverables, and priorities.
- Ensures resources are optimally staffed to ensure all
priorities are addressed in an efficient and timely manner.
- Leads with excellence in the oversight of OE (Operation
Expenses) for his department in an intentionally controlled and
proficient manner with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Responsible that all QC/QMS activities are executed promptly
and effectively while leading in the areas of accountability
through actions, mentoring, and professionalism.
- To Champion the Nonconforming Product and Corrective Action
processes for the QC lab.
- Influences and interfaces well with all corporate, commercial,
supply chain, customer experience, site peers, and colleagues.
- Leads and develops self-directed work teams in all areas of
influence by coaching, enabling, developing, and mentoring all
direct reports.
- Empowers and encourages direct reports to make calculated and
well-informed data-based decisions on a regular interval through
one-on-one interactions.
- Responsible that all QMS activities are executed promptly and
effectively while leading in the areas of accountability through
actions, mentoring, and professionalism.
- Develop and sustain the Quality Management System in line with
the required industry standards (including: TS16949, ISO14001 / ISO
9001 / ISO45001, accreditation requirements and business
requirements across the organization through existing and new
procedures.
- Manage the audit program to ensure that all nonconformities
raised against certification bodies during audits are effectively
corrected and independently verified.
- Manage all external registration requirements to ensure they
are met. Liaise with external bodies on all matters relating to
registration. Maintain and improve, in line with business
needs.
- Leads LIMS design, implementation, and maintenance for all site
activities. A critical role in system selection, design, and
long-term maintenance.
- Supports lab analyst regarding maintenance of LIMS/SAP
activities.
- Ensure that all necessary systems and procedures are in place
to satisfy all customer requirements and audits.Skills That Make a
Difference:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in chemistry,
biology, or chemical engineering.
- 5+ years' experience leading a QMS within the manufacturing
industry (pharmaceutical or cosmetic preferred).
- ISO 9001 Trained.
- 5+ years of demonstrated leadership experience leading/managing
cross-functional teams.
- Experience leading audit programs.
- Experience as a liaison to R&D and customers on quality
needs.
- Considered a Plus:
- Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.
