Cottonwood Creek Healthcare Community - Job Summary
The Personal Care Aide will assist the elderly, convalescents, or persons with disabilities with daily living activities in a care facility. Duties may include assistance with bathing dressing, grooming, personal care, incontinent care, light housekeeping, making beds, doing laundry, washing dishes, serving meals and other duties as assigned
Supervisory Responsibilities

Duties/Responsibilities
--- Administers bedside and personal care such as ambulation and personal hygiene assistance. Electronically charts services performed, reporting changes in client condition to manager or supervisor.
--- Performs healthcare-related tasks such as monitoring vital signs and medication under the direction of registered nurses or physicians.
Required Skills/Abilities
--- Must possess a strong service orientation, including active listening, critical thinking skills, and close monitoring of clients.
--- Basic understanding of medical terminology.
Education and Experience
--- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
--- More than two years of experience preferred.
Physical Requirements
--- Prolonged periods of standing, bending, and lifting.
--- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
