Job Description:
A company is looking for an Imaging Operations Specialist.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the scheduling and tasking of on-orbit satellites for
timely and accurate imaging
Develop scripts for satellite operations software related to
instrument tasking and image scheduling
Investigate and resolve on-orbit anomalies of imaging payloads and
support configuration changes
Required Qualifications
3+ years of experience in tasking for remote sensing systems or
similar applications
Bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering or a related field;
experience may substitute for degree
Experience with operations of space-based imaging assets
preferred
Proficiency in scripting using Python or similar systems for API
interfacing
Experience with orbital mechanics software (STK, FreeFlyer, etc.)
preferred
