Replacing Leticia OlmosAdditional Information:This position is responsible for general oversight and coordination of the Cook Childrens Health Plan (CCHP) Parent Partner Program.Education:High School Diploma or equivalent. Bachelors degree preferred but not required. Parent or legal guardian of a child or youth with special health care needs. Familiar with community, state and federal resources available to Children and Youth with Special Health Care Needs. Ability to speak in public. Basic personal computer skills and use of Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., word processing, e-mail, calendar). Valid drivers license and current automobile insurance. Bilingual (English/Spanish) Required. Must pass Spanish test prior to hire. Certification/Licensure:About Us: Cook Children's Health Plan Cook Children's Health Plan provides vital coverage to nearly 120,000 people in low-income families who qualify for government-sponsored programs in our six county service region. Cook Children's Health Plan provides health coverage for CHIP, CHIP Perinatal, STAR (Medicaid) and STAR Kids Members in the Tarrant county service area.
