Position Type: Internship Job Posting: We are looking for a Mining Geology Intern to join our team in Irving, TX. As a Mining Geology Intern, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with operations for the development of drilling programs, complete and compile maps and technical material for professional reports, evaluate pit volumes, assist with reserve and resource calculations, manage drill projects, and participate in health and safety programs. This position will be based at our corporate office in Irving, Texas, offering amenities such as a free fitness center, free covered parking, and on-site cafe and coffee bar. • 3rd or 4th year student working towards Geology or Engineering Geology degree
• Experience working in an active open pit mine is considered an asset
• Computer proficiency in MS Office and relevant mining software
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Effective interpersonal and communications skills
• Good observation, critical thinking, and analysis skills
