• Certification Details
• Maintains a State License as a general radiographer and/or is a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS).
• Must have ARDMS or RDCS certification.
• Must have BLS certification (Must be through the American Heart Association); RQI certifications will not be accepted.
  • Job Details
  • The Ultrasound Technician is a graduate of an accredited AMA school and registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT).
  • The Ultrasound Technician is responsible for providing timely diagnostic services to both inpatient and outpatients under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols.
  • Responsibilities include but are not limited to: abdominal, pelvic (gynecological & obstetrical), and transvaginal sonograms.
  • Additionally, is proficient at scanning small parts (thyroid, breast & scrotum) along with ultrasound-guided biopsies, drainage, thoracentesis, paracentesis, and aspirations.
    • Job Requirements
    • Must have ARDMS or RDCS certification.
    • Required - Candidate must have 3 years recent General OB/GYN, Abdomen & Vascular Tech experience.
    • Preferred if the candidate also has Echo tech experience; the facility is also willing to train.
    • Must have BLS certification (Must be through the American Heart Association); RQI certifications will not be accepted.
      • Schedule Information
      • Shifts will be Weekend days - (4) 10-hour shifts - Friday, Sat, Sun, Monday - 8 am to 6 pm.
      • No call.
