The position will be responsible for developing and maintaining mission system environments with a mix of OS and hosting solutions. Integration of the mission systems will include the install and configuration of the Operating Systems and Mission software, Infrastructure services, and Cyber Security hardening. A solid understanding of Windows administration and enterprise services is required. Understanding of Linux administration is also a plus. A candidate must be a self-starter, be able to work independently, work effectively in a diverse technical team, and could take ownership of issues through resolution. -Essential Functions:

• Windows and Linux systems deployment, upgrades, configuration management, patching and maintenance
• Conforming to Windows and Linux systems security standards (RMF, DISA, CMMC, DFARS, NISPOM)
• Installation and hardening of enterprise services and integrated software systems
• Managing User Access and Group Policy of Windows stand alone and Active Directory Domain systems
• Backup and recovery of Windows based systems
• Technical writing of work instructions and build manuals
• On site (not fully remote) position Qualifications:
  • Able to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance, which requires U.S. Citizenship.
  • Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience OR Master's Degree with---a minimum of---2 years of prior related experiencePreferred Additional Skills:
    • Operating systems deployment, upgrades, configuration management, patching and maintenance
    • Windows infrastructure services such as Active Directory, GPO, DHCS, Anti-Virus, DNS
    • Operating systems administration activities for Windows and Linux
    • Familiarization with virtual technologies, preferably Windows Hyper-V
    • Familiar with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) techniques
    • Disk imaging tools
    • Configuration Management tools
    • Scripting languages (e.g., Bash, PowerShell, Python, PHP)
    • Understanding of Network administration (e.g., switches, firewalls, routing, DMZs)
    • Tracking and collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence
    • Security standards such NIST 800-53, NIST 800-171, DISA STIGS, Nessus audit files
