The role is encouraged to drive technology discussions and analyze the current landscape for gaps in addressing business needs. Cognizant needs a motivated individual to challenge the status quo and provide thought leadership/standard methodologies to improve our current services and technologies. Role: Oracle Retail Merchandising System (RMS) consultant Roles/Responsibilities:
Have expertise both technical and functional in Oracle Retail Applications.
Oracle Retail Version 13x to 16x or above. 19x version is added advantage.
Attend and contribute to regular project team meetings involving local and remote team members to provide progress updates.
Deliver the requirements to capture and demonstrate the successful and high - quality development of technical deliverables, which satisfy client's specified requirements.
Work in accordance with the defect and issue tracking procedures and systems which may be used to assign tasks, track progress, review quality and support the SDLC of the client.
Assist with work estimation and preliminary requirement analysis Work within a team structure in accordance with established deliverable dates, in conjunction with onsite / nearshore / offshore team constructions, reporting to offshore/onsite leads/project managers Primary Skills: RMS/RPM/ReIM/ ReSA/RIB with 10-15 years of experience
Must have Skill: Oracle Retail Development, Enhancement and Production Support experiences.
Technical Skills: Retail Merchandising System, Pro *C, PLSQL, SQL, Java, Shell scripting, ADF
Domain Skills: Merchandising, Purchase Order, Allocations, Pricing, Sales Audit, Inventory Management, Financial Accounting (Stock Ledger) et
Functional Skills: Candidate should be able understand business requirements, Retail - Merchandising System, conduct detailed gap analysis of a product versus the requirements, create the functional design, acts as the functional SME for a module, Retail - Merchandising System, own the business process flows for the customer, Retail - Merchandising System, perform product configuration setup WITH THE OBJECTIVE of ensuring complete coverage of client's requirements and product quality.

Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
