As a Radiation Therapist, you will play a vital role in delivering radiation therapy treatments to cancer patients, working closely with physicians and the physics department to ensure accurate and effective treatment plans.**Responsibilities**

• Administer radiation therapy treatments to patients as prescribed by physicians.
• Perform manual calculations and fabricate custom shielding blocks.
• Conduct quality assurance checks and warm-up Linear Accelerators.
• Communicate effectively with patients and family members, providing support and information throughout the treatment process.
• Supervise student clinical rotations, ensuring a comprehensive learning experience.**Qualifications**
  • Graduate of an approved school of radiation therapy technology or a school of radiologic technology with a radiation therapy program.
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology in Radiation Therapy and licensed by the State of Texas.
