Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking an experienced Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to join their team at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, Texas.The ideal candidate will provide patient care in a competent, professional, and courteous manner, maintaining effective communication with patients, hospital staff, and physicians.Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and medical histories to assess patient conditions.
• Order, collect, and interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests to evaluate patient problems and healthcare needs.
• Prescribe and recommend medical therapies, procedures, or treatments, adhering to approved protocols and guidelines.
• Develop and implement patient treatment plans based on assessments, evidence-based medicine, and professional practice guidelines.
• Counsel patients and families about medical processes, health management, medication, nutrition, and health promotion.
• Maintain accurate records of patient treatment plans and outcomes, initiating timely consultations and referrals when necessary.Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited program with Acute Care Nurse Practitioner certification.
  • 2 years of critical care experience or completion of a critical care fellowship.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications within 30 days of hire or transfer.Benefits:
