Job SummaryChristus Health is seeking a skilled Licensed Vocational Nurse to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with providers to ensure the best possible outcomes.Key Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care to patients, including administering treatments and medications as prescribed.
• Assist with the preparation of equipment and aid providers during treatment, examination, and testing of patients.
• Observe, record, and report patients' conditions and reactions to drugs or treatments to providers.
• Oversee appointment bookings and ensure timely flow of patients.
• Greets patients, obtains well-documented history and vitals, and prepares patients for physical exams.
• May perform various tasks, including obtaining vital signs, performing initial assessments, and coordinating patient transfers.
• Formulate and update patient care plans, order and prepare patient charts, and post test results.
• Maintain patient files, records, and other information in a professional manner.
• Ensure preparation of exam rooms, including restocking of treatment areas.
• Attend required meetings and participate in committees as requested.Requirements
