Summary: Provides professional nursing care to clinic patients under supervision, collaborating with providers to facilitate quality care.The incumbent performs general nursing care, administers treatments, and assists with equipment preparation.Responsibilities include:

• Performing general nursing care, administering treatments, and assisting with equipment preparation.
• Observing, recording, and reporting patients' conditions and reactions to drugs or treatments.
• Overseeing appointment bookings, ensuring timely flow of patients, and maintaining patient preferences in emergency situations.
• Greeting patients, obtaining documented history and vitals, and preparing patients for physical exams.
• Performing tasks such as vital sign recording, initial patient assessments, specimen collection, and administering medications.
• Participating in professional development, maintaining licensure and affiliations, and following HIPAA guidelines to ensure confidentiality.
• Communicating effectively, adhering to policies and procedures, and supporting CHRISTUS Physician Group's cultural diversity objectives.Requirements include:
  • CERT
  • LVN License in the state of employment or compact
  • BLS
