started!Requisition SummaryJob Functions / Responsibilities
- Lead product development and validation activities related to:
- Requirements Definition
- Supplier selection
- Outsourcing contract engineering services work
- Maintain alignment with the Battery team and experts within
PACCAR divisions
- Provide Technical Leadership for battery development programs
and running business support
- Drive Uptime with electric powertrains and battery electric
vehicles
- Determine department and project goals, track and manage
- Provide written and verbal updates to communicate status,
changes, risks and improvement opportunitiesQualifications & Skills
- Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical
or Physics required. Masters or Ph.D. preferred
- 10+ years commercial vehicle / industry experience
required
- Demonstrated technical knowledge and working experience in
battery development/integration for commercial vehicle
applications, actively leading projects in this field
- Previous Supervisory or managerial experience required
- Demonstrated ability to work with a team to achieve timely
objectives required
- Demonstrated leadership and effective collaboration across
diverse teams solving complex problems required
- Demonstrated truck and powertrain product knowledge
required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with proven
ability to deliver technical presentations and written reports to
diverse audiences required
- Willingness to grow personally and professionally
- Willingness to collaborate on a global scale across multiple
continents and time zones
- Ready to learn and make use of new processes and
techniques
- Willingness to be outgoing, and engaging, with a demonstrated
