We proudly serve the greater Dallas & Fort Worth areas and provide great service on an array of automotive services, optimizing performance utilizing proven processes inside of a systematic approach to automotive repair. -The -Jr. Automotive Technician -is responsible for conducting basic automotive diagnostic and repair such as oil changes, tire and wheel related services and light vehicle maintenance.They are also responsible for effectively repairing customer vehicles while adhering to the MAP guidelines and in accordance with dealership, manufacturers, and Caliber Auto Care & Service standards. -Starting at: $20.00/Hr. to $30.00/Hr. - - -Benefits:

  Performs basic mechanical repairs based on level of experiencePerforms tire mounting/dismounting, wheel balance and tire rotation.Performs oil changes, fluid changes and power flushes and other basic services.Utilizes the company's Multi-point Inspection and/or Repair Order to properly document the vehicle conditionConducts State Safety and Emission Inspections (in applicable locations) on vehicles in an ethical manner following all company and state guidelinesFollows all safety procedures and reports any concerns to direct supervisorAbility to work flexible schedules, including weekends as needed. Other duties as assigned by direct supervisorAdheres to Sun Auto's core values, and all company policies and procedures as outlined in the Sun Auto Tire & Service Employee HandbookQualifications:

  Previous automotive technician / mechanic experience preferredAbility to demonstrate proper use of computerized equipment for diagnosticsValid Driver's license in the work State (out-of-state driver's licenses must be transferred to work state within 30 days of hire)Ability to obtain a State Inspector License (in applicable locations) is preferredHigh School Diploma or equivalent preferredWorking Conditions and Physical Demands:The Junior Automotive Technician will be exposed to moderate to loud noises, dust, exhaust fumes, lubricants, petroleum products, vapors, caustic materials, and other hazardous and non-hazardous materials. The temperature in the work environment varies and could include extreme heat and/or extreme cold depending on the ambient temperatures outside. The use of safety goggles or other PPE may be required when working in these conditions.The Junior Automotive Technician must be able to meet the following physical requirements:
